Your World of Text: weird website review & sites like it

Your World of Text is an infinite, shared text canvas. When you arrive you navigate an endless grid of characters by scrolling or dragging, and you can click anywhere and type. Everything is plain text, so the art is ASCII and the graffiti is typed, and the worlds are shared with strangers, who may be writing right next to you. It feels like a throwback to the early, collaborative days of the web, with none of the polish and all of the weirdness. Content note: it is an open canvas and the content is unmoderated, so you may find rude or random things, and the site shows a human-verification check before you can edit. Wander first, read what other people have left, and then leave a small mark of your own. It works on phones and desktops, though a keyboard makes writing much easier. It is a good rabbit hole for anyone who likes collaborative chaos and a blank page that is, quite literally, endless.

Tips for getting the most out of it

Wander before you write.
Content is unmoderated, so expect surprises.
Expect a human-verification check before editing.
