Cleverbot

Cleverbot is a long-running chatbot, and it works differently from the AI assistants you may be used to. It replies based on what people have said to it in the past, so conversations veer from sensible to bizarre, sometimes in a single exchange. When you arrive, you see a text box: type something and it answers. Expect non sequiturs, odd confessions and the occasional startlingly apt reply. It is a classic of chatbot history, and a fun way to see how far imitation of past conversations goes and where it breaks. The page title asks you to speak to AI with some actual intelligence, which is its own joke. As with any chatbot, do not share personal information, and keep in mind that your messages may be stored.
